We Believe

Our vision as a local church is to be a "worshipping community of witness" for Jesus Christ.  We believe that every follower of Christ is called to engage in worship, community, and witness. All aspects of Christian activity can be found in these three expressions of the ongoing will of God being done on earth as it is in heaven.

Essentials

The Bible is the Word of God.
Jesus Christ is the only Son of God.
Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a woman.
Jesus Christ was baptized, transfigured, crucified, resurrected, and ascended.
Jesus Christ will return to establish His Kingdom at an appointed time known only by God the Father.
You must be born again. Salvation is a gift from God. He provides the grace needed for us to receive the necessary forgiveness from sin.
Baptism is a sacred practice necessary for all believers.
Relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is made possible through the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross.
Eucharist, instituted by Jesus Christ, provides all believers the spiritual nourishment needed to continue in faith.
Gifts of the Holy Spirit are for believers now.
Miraculous healing (emotional and physical) is a present reality. Prayer for healing may include the laying on of hands.
There is eternal judgement after death. There are eternal dwelling places, heaven and hell, for both believers and unbelievers.
